I have setup some CSS rollover nav tab images that appear to be working. The one thing I don't care for though is when you first go to the page and roll over the image - they sort of blink the first time. Which I am thinking is because the image needs to load. Is there a way in css in to preload the rollover image when the page loads?
There are a few different ways you can go about preloading an image. If you do not want to use javasctipt you could create another 1x1 div which uses that image for its background. That way image MIGHT be available when called.
Cool way of doing dealing with this would be combining both images into one single image (you simply paste rollover image bellow original image) and then set that image as background of some <div>. On :hover, rather then changing background-image url() you would would change background-position and slide proper region of the image in the place.
