Flash is sluggish in firefox? Fine in other browsers though...
I just noticed that the flash on my websites are sluggish in firefox but perfectly fine in ALL other browsers.
If you look at the flash on my site www.jpwear.com in IE and then look at it in firefox (you have to look VERY carefully and really look at it a while)... then you will notice that the flash operates fast in IE and a bit sluggish in firefox.
If you look at the flash in the palm trees in the header of that site you will notice it moves at a normal speed in IE but not firefox. If you look at the flash in the footer you will notice that it moves faster in IE the way it is supposed to. The flash makes the city in the footer turn dark and then light and then dark... in IE it does this at a faster speed and in firefox it is slower and sluggish.
The flash in firefox is simply sluggish. I am NOT imagining this as I have tested it and compared it several times and it does this on ALL computers I have tested it on thus far. I am VERY familiar with the flash on my website and what speed it's supposed to move at and it's definitely sluggish in firefox.
Is this just the way firefox operates flash? This can't be possible?
I'm using the latest version of firefox... 126.96.36.199
The flash definitely moves slower in firefox than IE. Not much slower... but slower. I noticed it immediately when I viewed my sites. I'm going to check and see if it's only doing it on my sites or other sites as well... just have to find a good flash site to test it on...
