I'm hoping to come over to Sydney next June to see some family (who I'll be staying with) but I'm not sure on other things I can do over the 3 weeks that I'll be there.
I went to Sydney a few years ago with my parents for Christmas and we went to the blue mountains and beaches but seen as I'm coming alone this time I need to find some things to do.
Obviously I'll be staying around the family's house for 1/3rd of the time but what else is there to do? I'm not really in to "Arts" like paintings and opera but I do like things such as the bridge walk (which I will be doing).
Anyone have any suggestions for some good days out or something I can do for a few hours?
P.s. I've got a spending limit of £1200 and the flights at £650 (I need cheaper flights! haha) so I need to limit funds to about £150 a week.
I live in Sydney so I thought it'd be easy to think of something, but it's damn hard.
I'd go to the City and do some shopping, and go to Sydney Harbour and do more shopping, and go on the jet boats and stuff. Oh! You could go to Lunar Park, it's just been pimped out, so you'll get some new rides.
Visited Sydney a few months ago. I would highly recommend taking the ferry from Circular Quay over to Manly. Pier 3 if I'm not mistaken. I loved it over there, some great bars, fantastic beach, and was usually pretty quiet when I went. Did some surfing there too.
Also, there's a good ice bar called Minus 5 in Circular Quay as well. It's worth a look into but isn't very cheap!
