    Utilizing windows xp multi-user

Alright guys, I have no idea where to post this except here...

scenario: one server with windows xp professional. four users made on the server to give access to programs installed and etc.

Now, I saw this nifty "black box - I call" console that replaces a whole computer setup and allowed the user to hook this box to the server. Each box has mice, keyboard, monitor, usb, internet the user can connect to and would log on to the windows server. So one server, four black box hooked up to it to allow users to access the server.

Now BestBuy use to carry it until they had a recall. It's not a KVM switch but the opposite of it. Does anyone have any idea what i'm talking about? I had to talk to one of the techs there that worked at the computer repair department and thank god he knew what I was talking about.

Do any of you guys have any alternative? I hate upgrading 4 computers every 2-3years and installing all my software individually.

The technical term for what you're describing would be called a "dummy terminal" or a "thin client".
