    [help] gd library

    OK, i am totally lost now

    any one can help?

    i want to activate php-gd2.dll but until now all my afford is failed.
    I already enable gd lib in php.ini -->i usr/local/Zend/etc/

    but seems like the gd still cant recognize by php

    I already restart httpd service but still the same.

    Or is it because the path of extension_dir ??where shouldd i pointed it? because i cant find any directory which name "extensions"
    Any idea?

    anybody know how to find "php_gd2.dll "

    because i dont have it in my php directory, or where is the path?

    Is this a self managed server (no GUI like cPanel or Plesk)? Is this a RPM installation of PHP ? If you don't know either, show us the phpinfo output's "Configure Command" .

    I got this server already installed the PHP which installed already, they install using rpm, i use cpanelX

    I suppose you are talking about a Unix machine, right? In this case the DLL is not involved (only on Windows) but you need to compile PHP with GD support. Please refer to http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.ima...e.installation for further information.

    If you have cPanel X and is familiar with shell / ssh, issue the command below for compiling apache as well as PHP,

    /scripts/easyapache

    Select GD library in the PHP modules selection as well. It will do the job for you :-)

    wew thanks man really help

    but why when i configure manualy it always said "make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1"

    any idea?
