    cPanel bug?

Issue, I was told that their is a cpanel bug currently out with outlook express. When you create an account, and that user trys to connect through outlook with it but when you try and connect it says your password is wrong.

Is anyone else having this issue, is this a cpanel bug?

Could be a few things but the favourite one is the wrong POP3 daemon running. Try

    service xinetd stop
    service courier-imap restart

See if that helps fix it

Does this only happen with one domain? Try /scripts/updateuserdomains or /scripts/eximup --force

Sometimes the password files can become corrupted and you have to reset the password in cPanel on that mailbox in order for it to recognize it.

What version of cPanel are you running? Are you using MailDir or MBOX?

    Hi,

    I had that problem

Use the email address instead of the username, works a treat in outlook 2003
