    Question APF -> IPTABLES problem

    Hello,

    I'm running Linux 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp on my home computer and I intalled APF but when I go and start it it says:

    iptables v1.2.11: invalid TCP port/service `589984' specified
    Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.
    I been searching here and on the web for hours and found nothing.

    Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

    Are you using the default configuration or did you change anything in it?

    Hello,

    In iptables you don'thave to change th configuration file so if you made any changes then please make them as before and then try

    Thank you.

    Hello, the port you specified is wrong. Port range is only 1 - 65,535, the port you have entered 589984 is greater then 65,535. Please change the port, and restart APF, and all should be fine.

    Best Regards,
