I'm trying to capture a webcam image once a day. If I run the wget command in shell, it works fine, but it doesnt work in crontab. What am I doing wrong?
10 13 * * * wget -O /home/hai2u/domain.com/webcam/webcam-`date+%Y-%m-%d-%H-%M`.jpg http://www.domain2.com/webcam/capture1.jpg
may be putting the output in braces can help ? like
(wget -O /home/hai2u/domain.com/webcam/webcam-`date+%Y-%m-%d-%H-%M`.jpg http://www.domain2.com/webcam/capture1.jpg)
Delete the current crontab entry and Copy/Paste the code below in a single line

You should also verify that wget is in your $PATH variable for the crontab (or just include the pathname in the command). This is a common issue on FreeBSD, where /usr/local/bin is not always in the $PATH by default.

Don't forget to readd your @weekly cron, incase you started from scratch and only replaced the one line...
