    * myspace finally surpasses yahoo in page views BUT...

but, find out the REAL reason why...

    AJAX

Furthermore, Yahoo's page views could be diminished by the company's growing use of Ajax technology for maps, e-mail and other services. Ajax is a set of tools that speeds up Web applications by summoning snippets of data as needed instead of pulling entire Web pages over and over.

Well I do not think anyone should worry yahoo has done it to themselves from what I see. People are mad at yahoo they way they do things so it does not surprise me people do not use it much anymore.

Yahoo is fine in terms of yahoo games and music videos as I still sometimes do login to play a game of holdem or pool on yahoo games once in a while. Just hope they will make some improvements in 2007 to bring back some of us

I guess it does matter because in terms of global reach and stability, Yahoo has more capacity than Myspace, but then it turns out that the latter is gaining wider audience than the former. It makes you wonder why.

The difference between the two is like the difference between saying viewing habits of Saturday morning cartoons are now higher than at a Shakespeare play. You can't compare them and, as mentioned above, who cares?

I prefer Wikipedia over Dilbert because you can't look up advanced math in Dilbert. (An equally insane comment)

Are you saying something is wrong with using AJAX?

I just used AJAX to post this reply.
