The longer I have been through is some 60 hours.
My wife has been without (or not very much at all) sleep for some 66 hours, that's when she was in labour. Yep, 66 hours labor.

if i couldn't sleep for 5 days, I'd visit a doctor
The only thing that would stop me from sleeping in 24 hours is we have some major technical problem

I'm up since around 42 hours now. I have a final in 4 hours, then in 8 hours (4 hours after the beggining of the final) I'm going to crash for a few hours then have to wake up to complete some papers. I'm going to be allowed to sleep on sunday maybe.

156 hours was my biggest stretch, during winter break, my senior year of high school. I slept 18 hours after finally getting to sleep (you'd think it would be longer, but that was enough).

I'd say around 50hours was me longest stint.... back when i was doing some form of University work. For me, sleep deprivation is THE worst feeling i know. I'd prefer to have food poisoning than say awake for 5 days.

I remember a reality TV program over here in the UK, where the winner was the person who stayed awake the longest. Horrible program. I think a few people did themselves some serious damage staying awake for so long.

Hmm.., Like 3 days a supose..., but because several business projects needed to be finished.
Very stressful and tired.
My recommendation, don't do that.
You can have a hearth atack or stroke and die, just like that.
I, once of those times, felt my body(while using the PC) very strange, something around my skin. I supose those are signs that I could colapse anytime.

My longest time awake is about 36 hours, this was due to the flight from UK to America taking soo long. I certainly don't make a habit of staying up, I need my 7 hours sleep or I feel like cr*p the next day.
