I`m looking to block an IP range pretty much all of Vietnam. Getting tired of the same old IP#`s showing up from Vietnam causing problems. This morning a forum I run was compromised, the suspect again showing with an IP from Vietnam. The forum is bang upto to date for what it`s worth.
Anyways, I`m not too clued up on putting together a .htaccess file, especially adding a long list such as
You have two options. Either block those IP's in the server itself using firewall or block them for your site only using .htaccess.
If you are using htaccess. you can block them by adding
deny from IP
Take that file list, and add "deny from" before each line. Then upload it, and save as .htaccess in your public_html directory.
