Whats going on with Dedibox.fr?

Does anyone know whats going on with Dedibox? I have 2 servers via bestofdata and they used to be pretty good, but over the last week or so, I can only get download speeds of about 10KB/s which is pretty useless to say the least.

Bestofdata don't seem to have much info, they just say that they "are still working with our provider to get the speeds back to normal"

The servers are using about 5-15Mbit/s - it's just that each person can't get much speed on downloads.

Anyone know whats going on? and if it will be fixed soon?

Thanks.

They've been known to cap bandwidth. You're most likely being capped right now, and also under network degradation probably from their over-saturated bandwidth lines.

I don't think that I am being capped, the mrtg graphs don't look like it. It is just each individual person that is trying to download that can't get very good speeds.

Here are my graphs to show that I'm not using much bandwidth overall

How far are these people in relation to the servers location?

I am in the UK so not far.

I just tried downloading a file again and it seems to have improved - I am now getting a massive 20KB/s

I can normally download at about 110KB/s from most servers.

It starts at 110KB/s then drops after a few seconds to 20 - here is a file to test, it's only 5MB http://88.191.29.48/test.zip

11 MB/s from a server in OVH (France). A traceroute to the server goes over proxad.net.

3.7 MB/s from a server in Germany. Also goes over Proxad.net
