Do you trust your webhost with your website?

Do you trust your webhost with your website / source code?
Simple Question, "bad" webhosts could put leaks in your scripts of even steal it.

For the sites I don't host myself, yes! Sure, I don't always get good service, but I don't think they're out to get me. (By the way, the host is Netfirms.)

well, one time, i found that my host (way back in the day) had actually changed all my affiliate IDs on my website to his own affiliate ID.

    not kidding!

I have total trust in my webhost (Dotable.com) with all my sites. I wouldn't be with them if I didn't.

I trust my hosts 99.9% not to do something shady. Do I trust that they will never fail? Absolutely not. Always have a contingency plan.

That is insane. I had a similiar experience, not to that level though.

I use to run a large Pink Floyd website (roughly 4 years ago) with a very large free email service and mailing list. Roughly 4,500 email accounts with about 20,000 or so people on the mailing list.

My webhost went into my website and changed the PHP link code to include his web hosting URL. I didn't realize it, then about a month later or so.. I saw his link for a bunch of Pink Floyd related searches.. was quite lame lol

Yes, or it wouldn't be on the host.
