We are looking for Junior System's Administrators to work out of our Data Center in Los Angeles and Remotely.
Monitors servers including booting a machine when necessary
Responds to server alerts as per instructions from supervisory staff
Responsible for server stability
Provides technical support for Level I escalation issues via helpdesk, chat and forums
Assists Customer Service Representatives with technical support issues
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of Linux required
Experience with command line required
Understanding of PHP and HTML
Experience with Cpanel helpful
Understanding of ASP helpful
Understanding of JSP helpful
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to work well with the public
Ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of customer service principles, techniques, systems, and standards
