Hello guys

i think i'm being robbed by that company

i've 3 domains with them and the last one was registered back in spetember 2006 and everything was running fine and didn't log in my account since then

2 weeks ago i was logging into my account but i didn't find my account working - it said suspended because connected to account xxxx

i e-mailed them but got no answer in 2 days

e-mailed them again and waited for like 3 days more and nothing again

sent PM to RegFly here in WHT and he told me that i received a domain from someone who didn't pay the domain fees !!!

it has been since September and now they tell me that a domain fees isn't paid yet !

also RegFly told me to send mail to xxxxx@registerfly.com at risk department and they will tell me what to do

it has been also around 3 days and no reply yet

i usually drop an order to my hosting company and they register the domain for me and push it and RF account they are using isn't the one RF is telling me about !!!

i think their system is messed up and it's the customers who are paying the price for it


did anyone face a situation like this with RF recently ?

You buy a domain name from a host and your account is now mysteriously suspended for fraud? I suspect your host frauded you. Registerfly is not required to help you in anyway since it did not seem like they got oney for the domain name. If you are smart see if they will allow you to pay for it and go your own way.

It is amazing how many people who are scammers themselves or part of a scan come here on WHT to bash companies (e.g. fiesty, mohomad_sala)

Mods you need to do a better job or else WHT will turn into the ghetto of online forums.

anyways, if RF are good why aren't they replying me ?

even the chat support always busy or offline

if they have much customers why don't they hire more staff ?

sick support = angry customers

they are not even giving me the chance to talk to them and know details that might help me solve the issue

i can't even know what domain they are talking about

here is the timeline of the incident

april 2006 > domain1 registered
july 2006 > domain 2 registered
sept 2006 > domain 3 registered
late nov 2006 > account suspended

i didn't even get an e-mail

if they want their money why didn't they even care to let me that they suspended the account so i can solve the issue by any mean ?

i live in egypt and calling them will cost more than the domains cost

but the problem is that they keep forwarding me from one to another

regFly gave me an e-mail address to send my complaint that doesn't reply

also their chat is always offline or busy

once i spoke to one of them but he disappeared after a minute of two saying he will check my data

never had the chance to get chat online with them again

e-mail sent about 5 times every 3 days each

not sure what to do

even if i got scammed, i can fix the issue by paying for the domain causing the problem but how can i reach them ?

OK. If calling them is costing more than the domain is worth, then it ain't worth much. Better to register another domain with another registrar and move on with your life.

I called them on the phone several times. Each contact was unproductive. They read the same info that I had when logging in. Apparently they do not have authority to do anything more than what I can do for myself.

In regards to the domain name I attempted to renew 30 days prior to expiration, it has been expired for 2 weeks now, and is still stuck in their spool to be renewed. Each time I call, they say "It will take only another 24 hours! Thank you."

I don't know if their name doesn't say anything to you but the majority of domain owners and domainers mean this

RegistryFLY = FLY away from Register

are you serious ? i think you are kidding

it's not about the damn 10$ - i can pay them 20 or 30 $ instead of 10

it's about a site that has been running for months and getting famous now and getting traffic

starting from scratch will be waste of time and $$$ invested in that site

it's also about the fact that they don't offer support

i even didn't get an e-mail telling me about the situation

they didn't even offer a solution !!!!!

the problem is that when a domain is stuck you can't move hosting too

if i get kicked out of my hosting for any reason, i'll lose my site forever


that's what i call pure scam from registerfly

my father is a lawyer and i think i'll be suing them soon because i'm angry about them ignoring me

they never help in any way

read the posts in the thread by other people

it's the usual with RegFly not to reply

i also heard they were hacked and someone is playing with their system that's why they are running from support requests so as not to face the problems caused by the hack and be subject to law

they also locked the domains so i can't transfer them
