The gamepack is a collection, Like comes with various game scripts, Is in free domain, but Copyrights owned by their authors and clearly mentioned on all games, This pack is not part or extract of any pack which comes with famous game scripts, but is a selected pack of wonderful games.
Are the descriptions written by yourself or copied from others who created their own gamepacks? If you have written the instructions and descriptions yourself, I am interested in a copy. Please advise so I can purchase if unique.
I am clearly stating that I cant guarantee for sql file, So please dont expect any refund.
About duplicates, This pack is not intended to be a merger of 2 different packs, rather its a collection from various sources, so very less chances of any duplicates, However if there maybe 20-25 duplicates unintentional.
I am not the seller of the gamepack. What I was posting was that if anyone was needing it converted to become compatible with another script I could do it for a small fee. I would need to see what the current SQL file looked like though, but yes I can do PHPAS, GS, GSS, etc.
jdk, not yet but it should be up within the next few days or so. I have not planned on using the categories though, but the sql file has them if you need it.
What I have done with this pack is to parse the sql file, inserting some of the info from it into my own database. Also, while parsing the file I had my script rename all swf and png files to more appropriate names, like shoot-a-duck.swf and shoot-a-duck.png. Before the names were all mixed up, anywhere from 420.swf to aflashgame.swf, and so on.
Now I have a clean database with names and descriptions of the games, and all files are named accordingly. I should mention that all 3500+ games are not found in the sql file, after my parsing (excluding some duplicates and such) I have a little under 2200 games. Of course you can manually add the remaining games if you have time to do so.
Anyway, to answer your question regarding the categories, I think most of the games from the sql file are organized properly.
Dan Nilson, jdk.
