any good windows + tomcat host?

I'm searching a reliable host for a friend of mine that is in need of:
windows + tomcat
at least 1 GB of disk space
bandwidth: not sure how high the consumption might be but I think something standard should do it
several subdomains

good/fast support via chat/email would be a plus

he found visionwebhosting.com, has anybody tried them? any opinions on them?

any suggestion is welcome

thank you

What's your budget?
As for the mentioned company I've never heard of it before. You can make search in Google and find there as much feedbacks about it as you want.

Windows shouldn't be hard to find, but the tomcat support will be. Off the top of my head I can't think of any hosts that support tomcat.

Also, try to find reviews regarding the host you mentioned, if you are happy then go with them!

are you sure it's a fraud? they might have this policy to register the name and after some time edit the registration data to yours
some companies that offer free domains do this way (see midphase)

No it is defiantly a fraud. If you look at what they say on their site with regards to the registration of domains it mentions nothing about them putting it in their name.
Am I the owner of the domain that Visionwebhosting registers for me?
Yes. We register domains on your behalf. That domain is completely your property; we only do administrative work and give technical support.

Have a look at ftpplanet.com or even just google astrahosting. Now astrahosting is the same guy as visionwebhosting. All the posts giving astra exelent reviews are from this guy at divinedeveloper who is also the guy giving visionwebhosting reviews.
And to top it off I have lost my domain to them.

Was this a paid domain registration or a free one?

If we look at the context, their FAQ seems to be referring to the paid registrations...

Yes we can register .com .biz .org .net .ws .info .us domain names at the cost of $18 per year.

It was a paid domain and they registered it in there name. My subscription to them was for the java expert package which cost $480 so not cheap option.
From what I can see, these guys are the same as the guys at astrahosting and they did this all the time. Now can you imagine if you have had your site up and running for several years and they hijack your domain it could be a disastor!
