Sendmail or Qmail on CentOS ?

Is it worth to install Qmail on CentOS over sendmail, (sendmail is default there) ? We'll manage it via Virtualmin.

I used www.qmailrocks.org to set up qmail on my centos server (just use the red hat version og the guide), and it worked great, the server is really handling our emails very nicely

For the light weight load you've indicated you are going to be fine with whatever selection you make. Sendmail has historically been perceived as having the most security related issues, all of which have been dealt with in up to date vendor RPMs.

For what it is worth I would just go with Sendmail. The Red Hat documentation for setup/configuration is more than enough to handle its somewhat archaic configuration file.

I have to second what is said above about Qmailrocks. QmailRocks.org gives you everything you need, including a very comprehensive walk-through and excellent forum support. As well as instructions and the files for spam-control and antivirus installations.

Just make sure you set aside 4 hours to do it. You get a break half-way through without leaving anything broken, but it does take time to do the install. We have done this installation for customers who are hosting hundreds upon hundreds of email accounts, using the MySQL included install of qmail.
