i got one harddisk installed with centos, now my customer wants to upgrade the system, i did try to take the harddisk out and put in another motherboard and cpu but no use, the system will not work, is there any otherways to clone the harddisk to new harddisk? or any other methods?

when i change to new system and boot up the old harddisk, it always says "kernal panic"

Install the standard Centos Kernel and make sure /boot, / and all the other dirs are there on the HD. Then swap. Or add it as a second hd and mount it after the boot.
