    * Recommended Appraisal Companies

    Who here uses professional appraisal companies to appraise their domain names?

    I've used Moniker on several occasions and have been happy with the detail analysis they provide, but am wondering what other companies you guys like?

    Obviously some of these are scams, but there are definitely several legit companies out there that can be trusted.

    I still think the trick is to get more than one appraisal from two totally separate companies and then average the results together to get a better idea.

    Some companies do this on their own though. Some will have more than one person appraise the same domain, and then they use all of the data to come up with a final value.

    Any thoughts? Who else has experience with appraisal companies?

    None of them are any good. For a dose of reality, try asking your peers over at DNF.

    Unless you need a written appraisal from a third party for some legal or financial fulfilment, save yourself some money.
