Better put a nativity scene on your websites. You don't want 1 billion Catholics mad at you. I hear it also helps with PageRank.

this is what i have been preaching about forever.

once one "special" group of people sued someone for "discrimination" then it opened the door for ridiculous crap like this.

if anything, i think ill sue IKEA for not selling toilet paper. i was just there the other day and dammit, they didnt have any a$$ wiping stuff! come on, even 7/11 sells toilet paper.

catholics should be ashamed, of course, not because of this, but because they should be spending their time training their priests not to be molesting little boys instead of suing ikea for not selling nativity scenes.

it is bias to take that off in the name of tollerance, but it is worse to sue and make a fuss over it.

but what would the church be without it

So two idiots = 1 million angry Catholics now? Personally I think Ikea should be able to sell whatever they want, heck if they wanted sell Menorahs and no Christmas trees that is the right of the company to do and I will still buy my cheap, low quality but good looking furniture there when I need something.

I agree that Ikea should be able to sell whatever, but:

Please don't let a small group represent the whole. Should I rant about how all Muslims should be executed for the crimes of terrorist extremists?

That's like saying Muslims should be ashamed of being terrorists.

Although, if you say all Muslims are terrorists, I'd be happy to be called a molester and everything.

Did you even try to read the article? They didn't sue Ikea. There was no lawsuit. Ikea decided not to sell nativity scences, and a group of people decided not to shop at Ikea. I'm not sure where you got this junk about anyone suing them, it would seem that you made it up.

Interestingly, no one posted that Ikea used to not show women assembling furniture in their instruction manuals because they thought it might offend Muslims.

Catholics are always unhappy with something if it isn't Nativity at Ikea its telling other catholics not to use condoms while catholic priests molest children. I think they should focus really on their faith rather than pick fights as this part of our religion already has alot of problems, lets focus on real problems in the world and of our religion so that we can have a deeper understanding of Christianity.

That's rather ironic, being posted in a thread complaining about what stores 2 Catholics decided to do their Christmas shopping at.

Well for me I don't prefer to place myself into a category of Christianity, but believe it in general.

This is strange, I have bought furniture at Ikea, and it never had a person in the manual doing anything. Just diagrams.
