    Alternative to my ServerMatrix server?

I currently pay $79/month for a 2.4gHz Celeron with 1GB of RAM at ServerMatrix.

I want to upgrade my hardware but I don't want to upgrade my costs

Any reliable hosts out there offer better hardware for that price?

Your customers will thank you for an upgrade in your hardware..... but I don't know if you'd want to do it for $79 or less.... that's pretty cheap for a "reliable" server....

freaky, I'm from Nova Scotia too

I may just move to a shared host.

    Fancy meeting you here then

Sometimes instead of a dedicated server, a reseller plan might be all you need. You can get them for quite a bit less than $79/month. Check out ResellerZoom's "Failover" plans....

Yes I believe they have.... do a search here at WHT and you'll find lots about them. They're quite popular here.

You could go to the offers section. But i would strongly advise you to rise to your budget. Maybe something over a hundred.

You will not find a better dedicated server for a cheaper price or even the same price.

I suppose the question is - do you currently have actual customers or do you utilize the server for some other purpose? If you only have a hand full of clients and need to stay at the price range, I would seriously look into:

    HostNine.com
    ResellerZoom.com

Otherwise you will need to up your monthly in order to get an adequate server. I would look at Softlayer or LayeredTech.
