What's the difference between "Account Disabled" and "Disabled"?
I've seen users with either "Account Disabled" or "Disabled" under their nick. So what does it mean? Which is really the equality of being banned from the forum?

In general, temporarily disabled are those banned by warnings. Disabled means they were banned via the control panel. Those sporting the Disabled are generally those botty type things that sign up in a gazillion forum to spam the same stuff (like make $20,000 in a week for just $6 type of stuff). It might also apply to those who have already had many names disabled and just keep on coming back.

It's important to note that a member may choose to have their account disabled. Either because they finally noticed the guidelines that allow only one account, or just don't want to be a member any longer. Sometimes members ask to be temporarily disabled so they can fight their WHT addiction.

haha request to be banned
Hopefully they don't decide they really want to post and sign up for another name and really get banned!
That would be a case to call out the dancing banana!

Has there ever been a realistic discussion, by the owners/mods/powers-that-be, to clean up all the dead accounts?

Maybe make a new usergroup: "Disabled for 12 Step Program" to fight the addition!

Hi, my name is Ed and I'm a WHTaholic. I can't go more than 8 hours without getting my WHT.
I need my WHT!

One suggestion is maybe add "WHTaholic" to the User Title list, like when you hit 2500 posts or something...

Aye!
WHT is part of the hosting vortex(TM) ! It's a black hole of sorts..once you're in...well...you're in for good! I tried breaking free...but..it's just not possible.
Life without WHT? Unthinkable!

I have used "On R&R" for one at least I can't remember the others now, but it wasn't usually disabled. Also, there are some who request a temp name to sell their hosting business and/or clients. If the sale goes through, then the temp name is disabled, I change their title to Sale Over. If they don't keep us updated after a few requests, they get the disabled.

Come on jan is a grandma now you think she needs your mom albertahosting who is probably half her age .
12+ years -same website , new server [SSD Inside] providing shared/reseller hosting only !
These things we do not provide/offer : Unlimited Storage ! Unlimited Bandwidth ! But Why? Cause, we were unable to put such a large number on our pages, it just would not fit.
So check out the numbers that actually fit >> << the page as well as your budget too !
