    White List IP on APF

    How do I whitelist IP on APF, I know how to block IP but I want to White List few IPs

    apf -a IP

    or you can manually edit /etc/apf/allow_hosts.rules

    be sure to restart the APF services as well after you have added the rules:

    service apf restart

    Following is the command to allow IP in apf

    ./apf -a UNBLOCKING

    after that pico /etc/apf/allow_hosts.rules from here you can see that Ip in file

    added as

    # added on 08/23/05 01:39:43
    and then /etc/apf/apf -r

    but make sure that IP is not listed in deny_hosts.rules

    use following command to see that IP is list or not

    pico /etc/apf/deny_hosts.rules
