I'm pretty sure DeltaCom is out of the co-lo business now. The only co-lo they had was e^deltacom, which is owned by QualityTech now.

No, the old gnax space is spread over 2 floors in 55 marietta and comprises roughly 15k sqft in total. NOT 960k

I wouldn't really call it a great area of town.

I toured the facility when it was under renovation and the current tennant had not yet vacated the building. They had some real serious issues getting fiber to the facility because it's really in a bad area in terms of fiber. Haven't been back to check it out since the people I worked with at Sago are no longer there.

I wonder if anyone is in the old GNAX space yet. Maybe it is time to start a new datacenter :-)

we just cleared the 17th floor a few weeks ago - it is available. the ac and power is still there. we wont take it out till the lease is up - in case someone wants it - so that it is in move in ready condition.

the 8th wont be available for at least 6-9 months.

As Sailor said, this is definitely a bad area. I spent some time at an office across the street and heard quite a few interesting 'stories'. Anything near Bankhead inside the perimeter is pretty rough.

For right now, I wouldn't put GNAX or the AtlantaNAP on my list, if your talking about hosting with directly and I'm their largest colo customer.

Yes they certainly have their issues. We were MUCH happier with our situation before moving into their new AtlantaNAP facility despite being completly out of space in 55 marietta. We're right behind sitesouth in terms of size and we're in full agreement.
