    * UploadPic new design

    Dear All,

After redesigning our image host we aren't sure whether to use it or not, mainly due to the amount of images and whether it suits the application. Any way in order to resolve this situation could you review the design:

    www.uploadpic.net/new

    Thanks

It looks fine but I would make the top part (3 images) much smaller. Right now there's no balance between your header and your text/contents.
It loads 'fast' for me, but I have a very fast internet connection. Probably it will even load faster with less/smaller images. I really like the concept you're using, with those images on top.

Nice layout. But I think it is better if you change your ads background color to grey.

I agree - I know you want to make some cash monies off the ad's but I would make that footer a light gray instead of the white. Though it does draw your focus so your goal might be accomplished.

Next - I would try and see what it might look like if you raised up the "upload" or lowered the "pic" in your logo so that the dot in the "i" of "pic" would sit nicely inside the inner curve of the "d" in "upload". Does that make any sense at all? LOL

Next I would try to adjust your line-space for your text on the main page to allow your text not to appear stacked on-top of each other. A bit crowded looking.

I would also try and center the entire design.

But beauty is in the eye of the beholder and frankly - that's not me.

I'm rather fond of the website! I like the feel it gives me (professional yet very fun and interactive.) The colors and special "elements" which you used really gives a more personal touch to the website. However, to be honest, I wasn't able to navigate clearly. It took me about 15 seconds to find the navigation to the website. I'd suggest making the buttons clearer to notice.

Other than that, absolutely wonderful work!

I'm definitely liking the website although I do think it would look much better centered.

I too think it would look much better centered, however the site and design is fad.

looks good, only thing i can say is I don't like the outer glow you put on the "paper" in the back as it does not flow well with the other items in the layout.

The integration/placement of the Google ads is quite clever and probably very effective (the bottom bar in particular) though of course that doesn't exactly benefit your users... the menu is too inconspicuous; it blends in with the nonfunctional photographs. And overall I found it just looked a bit too busy -- the upload form was not nearly as clear and obvious as it should have been, especially with the rest of the clutter.

Also it looks fairly bad when my horizontal resolution is 1920 pixels, becaise it's scrunched up in the top-left corner. Even if you keep it a fixed width, at least center it!

This is my favorite upload site: http://waffleimages.com/

Why did you impliment the new design only on the homepage?. Throughout the rest of the site you still have your previous design.

Looks nice, but I myself would change the 3 photos at the top and take out some pictures. Thats gonna be a lot of bandwidth right there.

I like the layout a lot however I think the image uploader should stand out slightly more. Very good design though

Thansk for the comments, have totally finished the site inside, not sure how to get it to centre else the lines on the back won't align, and also its coded with the absolute css bit so . . .
