Out of socket memory causing kernel panic?
Hi, I need some help to solve/find this problem out.
My server have crash twice, and everytime that I check out /var/log/messages, the only error I see is Out Of Socket Memory.
I do not see a kernel panic in /var/log/messages, but when I check my system directly, on the monitor/screen I see something like kernel panic - not syncing.
Then I restart the server, and check the logs, and the only error is Out Of Socket Memory.
Could that be causing the server to have a kernel panic? I already tried increasing the socket memory, but that didn't help.
I am running CentOS 2.6.9-42.ELsmp.
When I run this command I see this:
sockets: used 2258
TCP: inuse 2216 orphan 80 tw 1365 alloc 2288 mem 49586
UDP: inuse 4
RAW: inuse 0
FRAG: inuse 0 memory 0
If anyone could help, that would be great! Thanks.
