Root privilages, but not quite root?

Another quick question. I've got a cPanel based VPS, and I want to give a friend of mine (whom I trust to not mess up anything) root access, but I don't actually want to give him the root password, I figure the fewer people who know it, the better. Is there a way to create an account for him where he can login to SSH and WHM and have the same privileges that a root user has, but he's just not root?

You might be able to set up something using a sudoers list. For WHM you can make a reseller login for them that only has the privileges you want to grant.
