Just to confirm ... i can turn off, and turn on ads on free accounts on a PER ACCOUNT basis?

Are free accounts automatically set to force ads?
When they upgrade to a paid account, are they automatically set to no ads?

    Yes that is correct.

if you set the free package to have ads on then yes all new sign ups will have the ads on them once the cron runs.

once they upgrade it's not instant but yes it will remove the ads automatically, but will not upgrade there package per whm automatically.

What kind of integration is there with ClientExec? If my users on free subscriptions decide to switch to paid, I would rather have CE handle it. Know what I mean? Should I just have them signup with CE and transfer their data?

Actually, new question. If I want ClientExec to handle all my billing and customer information along with subdomain registration and everything, should I just get iAds? I already have great billing software and I really just need the forced ads.

Could I integrate iAds with a plan in cPanel, like _free, so that customers on that plan and on that plan only experienced the advertisements? That way my pre-existing and configured software could still be used?

Well we don't have any type of integration with CE or any other billing software. The users would have to resignup with CE if they wanted to move to a paid account.

This is exactly how iads works. You enter in the package name that all free accounts are on and it find all accounts under that package and places the ads on them.
