Knowing trillian: Probably just the graphics.
But it still looks very promising.

I use Trillian Basic currently. This just looks the same, with more useless gadgets.

I'll get it if it's free, because it's new, and it looks better.

I'm looking forward to it. It doesn't look the same and you obviously didn't read the changes.

I think it looks great, it seems that it has a plug in for GTalk which i was waiting for.

I hope they give the upgrade for free for the pro version users.

I doubt it'll convert me from the old trillian, because I basically only use AIM and it was overly complicated for my needs, but still it is very pretty looking and I do like my applications to look good, so we'll see.

I don't like Trillian anymore. It's always disrespecting my Yahoo messenger away status settings. I set it to "away", but when I leave and come back it will change it back to "online" without my permission. It does some other strange stuff too like not updating avatars, username displays, etc. Not to mention, it loses MSN messages all the time!

i use trillian pro, i deserve an upgrade!

a better interface, simple spam blocking and some hardware accelerated toys would be nice.
<erno> hm. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is.

I'm only using it for the IM functions and don't need all the extras they're touting here. Free upgrade (pro version)? Maybe I'd do it.

'Astra' seems to be their codename for Trillian v4 - I damn well better get it for free if I choose to renew my Pro. I bought it, got the latest version.. and then nothing for over a year.

It does look very nice though. Be nice to see it though for real

It looks nice, it kind of dissapoints me they're jumping on the myspace bandwagon though, although the new googletalk addon will be somewhat useful.
