    1) Download the website by FTP.

    2) Download the MySQL or PostgreSQL database backup (f.e. sql format) by using Phpmyadmin.

    3) If you dont know how to do it, ask somebody who you trust to do it for you. Thats fast and easy enough to do ;-)

    Good luck.

    Hi Nils,

    Thanks for the reply.

This may sound really strange ... how do I download the site via FTP?

Also, would you be able to tell me how to download the database using PhpMyadmin?

Sorry for the ignorance and thanks for the help!

What control panel your webhost use? If Cpanel, there is an option there to take the account backup and download it to your local computer.

Backup your MySQL database using phpMyAdmin, click on the "export" link on phpMyAdmin main page. Choose the database you wish to backup, check the appropriate SQL options and enter the name for the backup file.

FYI: You can also execute a database backup query from PHP file

You can make use of any FTP client to download website files to your local machine.

Or just go into NetAdmin, Web Site Tools -> Backup Management and click on each of the links to backup the home directory (your files), the database(s) and any mail aliases and filters.
