It really varies on what you are looking for. If you have a cPanel Linux server then I would highly recommend PlatinumServerManagemnet.com. They are very fast to answer at anytime of the day and are always on top on of your server.

I agree with that. Serversupportguys.com is awesome, Lyron is very friendly. All the staff is awesome, and they do care about customers... They will go beyond their duties to help their customers. I have some issues with my ips, Lyron, told me to msg the datacenter because there was something wrong with my allocation, and now everything as fixed. They do give you 911 support if you are down, otherwise if your ticket is not urgent, the resolution time can be in less than 2 hours. I never wait more than 5 minutes to have someone looking at my server.
You will get for free
Up to 6 monitoring ports in real-time ( http, mysql, ping, etc)
Well I got email alerts to my cell phone in case that something is happening.
A remote 20 GB backup ftp with rsync

Wouldn't recommend acunett or serversupportguys , but can say steven (oh the rack911 guy) seem to be decent but to be frank i have personally haven't seen any great management company yet. Most fail in one region or another.
I worked at EV1 for 3 years. During this time I regularly sent customers to http://www.totalserversolutions and http://www.rackaid.com. Both companies can help with everything from securing/configuring servers, installing software, performance tuning, intrusion investigation, migrating between different machines or data centers... Both rescued *large* numbers of server owners from some very tricky situations. I would highly recommend them!
As a director of a managed services provider, I recommend you spec out exactly what you need and send a request to several of the companies that are mentioned in these forums. Each group has their own culture, approach to management and service structure. Some may be a good fit for you while others may not. If you've had specific issues in the past, I find it often good to send an inquiry about how a specific situation would be handled, what the response time would be, and what the cost would be. This can give you good insight into how a firm operates.
We save you time, money, and frustration by handling the server management tasks required to run an online business successfully.
No prodding required. We just do it right the first time. Red Hat, MySQL, Plesk, and cPanel certified staff.
We work with http://efastconsulting.com and these guys are true pros. I personally know somebody who has 160 servers on their monthly maintenance program, 35 of those servers are cPanel the rest are Ensim. Do give them a call if you need anything done.
