do you have any information on your company? how long in business? where is the datacentre? do you own it? lease space? are you a registered company? hardware replacement policy? for server clients what is included with "semi-managed"? etc etc etc
Thanks for expressing interest, dsotmoon!
1.) We've been in business since around 2004. There are other online ventures that we also run that have been around much longer, many of which have required us to have a collocation and staff presence. Additionally, prior to 2004, we provided hosting but it was limited in scope to local businesses in the New Jersey and New York area.
2.) The datacenter is in NYC, 325 Hudson St.
3.) We do not own it. We have long term commitments on colo space there.
4.) Yes. An LLC in Delaware.
5.) Upon detecting that a server is down, we're automatically paged. A tech will evaluate the server and, if it is a hardware problem, then its replaced as quickly as possible.
If a HostTitan staff member is not present at the datacenter, we have arrangements with the datacenter to replace hardware. At no time is this of any expense to you. All of our servers are hooked up to a remote reboot port and KVM, so we are able to handle operations both remotely and onsite as needed.
5.) Semi-managed means we will provide most operations, including installing apache, bfd, upgrade php etc. The only additional management service is OS reinstalls, which are $65/incident.
It looks like it a little faster now, but not fast enough...

Ok: we've been working on it and i'm seeing about 500 kbps from a server in LA; if you could post traceroutes, so that we can investigate further it'd be helpful. We'll work to get to the bottom of this...
