    Hello eugene2006,

    1) Can you PM me perhaps some details to your configuration f.e.

    Apache HTTPD 2.0.52
    MySQL 4.1.8
    PHP 5.0.3 + 4.3.10 + PEAR + Switch
    MiniPerl 5.8.3
    mod_ssl 2.0.51
    Openssl 0.9.7e
    PHPMyAdmin 2.6.0 pl3,
    Webalizer 2.01-10
Mercury Mail Transport System fur Win32 und NetWare Systems v4.01a
    FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.4d
    SQLite 2.8.15
    ADODB 4.52
    Zend Optimizer 2.5.7
    XAMPP Security

    2) Do you get this regularly or on which occasions ?

I would think this could either be a configuration issue or a software compatibility problem.

    Best regards

yes it is quite regular, once in two or three days this bottleneck....

    apache 2
    php 5
    mysql 5
    xampp

for now i am trying to programme an app that monitors CPU usage and restarts apache...
but it is a tempor solution, curing consiquenses but not a cause of a problem

would that be due to some DOS attack? run netstat -n 80 to see the number of apache connections

btw, how did you create that video? it looks nice :p

    Hi!
Run the following..and let's see if the vps is even setup correctly, please. First..if this is a openVZ or Virtuozzo vps:

    cat /proc/user_beancounters

    and..even if it is not:

    ps axfuw

With more info..we may be able to help!

    Thanks!

    eugene2006,

Is the issue still existing ?
I do understand correct that this is a Windows host, right ?
(commands from bryonhost1 mgight not work)
    Which XAMPP version ? (f.e 1.5.4a)

If the issue is not existing anymore, what was the cause ?
