    I believe it depends on your SP version, I think SP2 fixed it. You can Google it though.

    It's actually an old bug that they're not likely to fix any time soon. Notepad is 'taught' to 'guess the encoding' when it loads up the document based on some byte order theory, and with short strings (such as "bush hid the facts") it gets confused and loads it up incorrectly. Using any hex editor will show that it actually is saved properly...

    Also, this was just on WHT not too long ago by Ub3r if I remembered correctly.

    I think there was a certain code that you could do that turned into symbols showing the WTC attack. Something along those lines, I can't remember.
