Aliases

Hello,

I am using cPanel 10.8.2-S120 on Fedora box.

One of my clients, like to create email aliases. Is that possible on cPanel server by using any other way, as cPanel does not support creation of aliases?

Thanks for your time.

O.K I bite the bullet. I might something wrong now but isnt the forwarding feature in Cpanel almost the same like an alias ?
(or at least it can be used in the same way)

Thanks for the fast reply Nils.

This client is having multiple locations. They want to receive one copy of all incoming mails of all the location on a specific address in HO as well as one copy to the respective regional heads. In cPanel we can set the forward but the problem is after it forwards it still keeps one copy of the mail in the inbox. Its giving space problem too as they do not want to go ahead with more then 100MB between 25 email address

The Email 'Forwarders' option in cpanel works like an alias.
If you do not want any mails coming to the inbox of the mail account, just delete the mail account through cpanel, but keep the forwarders. This way all mails will go only to the mail addresses you have specified in the forwarder.
