Like the first week in the new year hdtv are suppose to drop like 20-30% instantly so be careful what you buy before the holidays I have a sceptre lcd computer monitor since last year works like a charm.

That's usually what happens with technology, right?

When cheaper and better LCD's are available, I'll give gift this to a family member and order another.

I'd love a 37" 1080p LCD (to connect to my HTPC) but I don't see it dropping to my desired price range $799 anytime soon.
