NameCheap provides free privacy for the first year. After that it's a reasonable $2.88. cheaper in bulk. The nice feature of NameCheap's privacy is you don't lose it if you sell or transfer the domain. You can simply transfer the privacy to another domain.

I wouldn't touch Registerfly with a bargepole. Just look at all the threads complaining about Registerfly dotted all over these forums.

    Cool

Godaddy give free Private Registration (usually $4.99 per yr) if you buy 3 or more domains.

Membership at dnoa.org (~USD7,00 annually) is the best way for ALL your domains to have almost free whois privacy. If you have many of them, the cost per domain becomes really very small.

Joking, joking... They (as far as I understand, temporary) suspended new memberships, yes. Reasons unknown.

I think I read it on these forums, that new members can't sign up anymore.
