Exim does not restart...
i have an exim problem on a Cpanel I happens that if exim fail it does not restart automatically. shouldn't there be "restatrsrv_exim" to restar it automatically when it fails?
Is there any way to solve this issue?
thanks to all

Try SIM (System Integrity Monitor)
thatnsk but i already installed SIM a loong time ago.. but this does not solve the problem now...
I use a bunch of shell scripts to monitor vital services and restart them should cPanel fail to do so. Here is a
# Exim Monitor
checkexim=`ps ax | grep -v grep | grep -c exim`
if [ $checkexim -le 0 ]
Stick that code in a shell script (monitor-exim.sh or something), then create a crontab to run it every minute.
This is for a FreeBSD setup, so the /etc/init.d/exim might be different for you.
Don't forget to make sure that the shell script is excutable.
You can also stop Exim to make sure that Exim does restart properly.
Cron: */1 * * * * sh /path/to/shellscript.sh >/dev/null 2>&1
