Guys, I gotta say...I've been with X1 for a while now (over a year I believe), and I have always been a big supporter. The servers have always been for the most part blazing fast. Loads are almost non-existent, most of the time things just work. Imagine that!
But when everything goes down for over 12 hours and you can't get a hold of anybody...NOBODY at all...there's a huge problem. For the entire private rack (I assume since none of the x1 sites were available either) to go down for that length of time is nuts, and unfortunately, it isn't the first time this has happened. The other times were only for an hour or two, but even so, it's happening a lot more frequently these days for a lot longer period of time.
I think sadly, it might be time to start shopping around for another provider.
Agree, though my downtime was more like 6-1/2 hrs. It's a shame -- good speed, good value. But the lack of communication during downtime is a killer. There's nothing worse than when the phone rings and all you can say is "I don't know."
Yes it does happen frequently, then it was good for few months, now starting again....I must say though for some STRANGE reason- my cpanel vps on 188.8.131.52x never went down, or at least my 5 different monitors didnt catch it and they usualy work. but that one has had these problems too...
I have never tried them but theres a place vpslink.com from Spry, but the VPS Are Unmanaged..
I know some of u like me proably had spry and they totally suck. I must say though, they should be better.
A while back when i had them before i switched to MaximumVPS Which as u all might know, was the company before X1 bought it (Why cant they still exist? Maximumvps and the owner was literally ALWAYSSSS on and the machines where blazing fast, NEVER down and more stable)
Anyway, they were totally awfull, and i was speaking to their support staff live when i was leaving, and they themselves admitted there are problems going on that should not have occured, and that they are getting a new office manager to correct the problem, so just a thought.
X1Services Network Unplugged from EV1 - All clients and servers are down now.
Today, Ev1 Servers has unplugged X1services network.
Entire Network is down now !
I have contacted EV1, they told me that :
X1 has a payment on the amount of $5050 that needs to be paid by 29th of Jan. (11:49:56)
Why should we be disconnected ?
We have already paid all our account fees.
And today is 24th Jan. not 29th Jan. !
It's a true unfair and unjust action from EV1.
I want to backup my files.
They told me to contact X1, since there is over 30 days that Darin is not answering.
I don't know what to do now.
Ok, now I want to backup all my vps accounts and move to another provider.
I was unable to reach Darin for last 30 days.
And all network is down and EV1 says we cannot do any thing for you.
Support is always offline.
What shall I do now ?
Who is responsible for my downtime ?
When he is not reachable any more what shall I now ?
Can't EV1 do any other legal action against this company ?
Clients also should pay for the providers fault?
