I have never used a rented Windows box and was wondering if I could get some help.
I run an online radio station and basically need to replicate my home PC on a remote box - I need to install a piece of software and use it via remote desktop. I am currently using the software on XP. Do I need a dedicated host or can I use a cheap shared host?
My ISP is threatening to shut down my service due to bandwidth usage, and I need to install the same software on a datacenter box so I can legally use their bandwidth. Any suggestions for hosts? Budget is limited - under $50/month ideally.
Do you have any idea how much bandwidth you are using?
Where are you located? who is your provider?
