Starting a Forum
i want to start a hip hop forum, should i add it to my illbeatz website (in signature) or should i get a seperate domain name and start fresh forum?
thanks in advance Vince P
If you can start it on its own domain.
You can always link between your site and the forum.
If your current website needs more traffic, put it inside your currect domain, it will bring more traffic.
If you link, you only get the benefit from SEs side.
From Seo point of view it's better to have 2 subdomains closely connected, you'll have better results on PR, since your new domain will at once get the PR of the existed domain.
I'm sorry i didn't quite get what you went couls you pleae explaine it again thanks

illbeatz, you can go to a seo-oriented forum and talk to people there. Good luck!
thank you very much
Make a new domai name for it. Its alot easier to access a domain name directly.

Get a new domain. Then link to it from your illbeatz domain. Easier to access and still generate traffic.
Just create a subdomain for it, something like: forum.illbeatz.com
what are the benefits of use a subdomain for my forum
Keeps your forums separate from your website while still using your established "illbeatz" brand. I think a subdomain is cleaner than doing it
