I'm having a brain fart and need some help. I need to do a search for "email client" at WHT because I'm trying to read some past threads on which email client is the best and whatnot...
but when doing a search at WHT I forgot how to make it search for the exact phrase of "email client" so that I don't get threads talking about emails or threads talking about clients and ONLY get threads about "email clients" and nothing else.
I thought I was just supposed to put quotation marks and type this "email client" but it didn't do the exact phrase search properly. I've forgotten and can't find the answer... anybody quickly remind me again how?
Well i think there might have been feature to search for Exact keyphrase but got removed or changed by iNet cause it was costing them too much money. But like the option you see where it says "Exact Name" There is usually a field (option) where you can click and enable "Exact Phrase" , but seems like wht doesnt have that.
So basically you are saying it doesn't exist at WHT and I'm screwed?
When I do a search for "email client" I get all sorts of stuff that is not really about email clients... strange that there isn't an exact phrase search... oh well, thanks.
EDIT: This sucks... there HAS to be an exact phrase search? This is terrible... I just tried to do a search on "email client" to read threads about which email clients most people like the best and get all sorts of stuff except for "email clients!". The search is useless without an exact phrase...
I didn't even know "boolean" was a real word. I tried that but it shows the same results really. But since I was just trying to pull up threads about email clients I can just enter euroda, thunderbird or outlook e.t.c. into the search and that pulls up more precise threads so no worries. Thanks.
