Question Dual CPU worth it for file server?

I will be setting up a Dell 2950 with Windows Storage Server 2003 to act as a file server. It will be serving up mp3 files requested by our web servers. Question is, is it worth it to go dual CPU with this storage server? Seems like just serving audio files is not very CPU intensive. Anyone with experience to share?

    Thanks.

Can't say for sure yet, but I'd think it would help yes, and also, you'd probably best make sure you get alot of RAM too. Always better to have too much than too little, in my opinion.

better to spend your money on multiple decent disks, and stripe them for better performance..

Generally from using storage I've found the limiting factors seem to be that of the network more than anything. As long as the setup can max out the network port then you should be fine however it Dell are doing a special I would still put another one in just to be safe
