I've had a read through the FAQ over at eurid.eu and the process for transferring .eu domains seems to be more or less the same as with other TLD's.
However I do have a couple of questions I hope somebody in the know may have the answers to as they don't seem to be clear from the Eurid site.
1. There doesn't seem to be any reference to the "Cannot transfer domain within 60 days of registration" that you get with .com, .net, .org domains.
Can a .eu be immediately transferred?
2. The FAQ says that when you initiate a transfer of a .eu the current owner is sent an e-mail and they need to follow a link.
When I do a WHOIS on a .eu there is an e-mail address listed under the "Registrant" section and a different address under the "Registrar technical contacts".
Which of these people will receive the request e-mail and link?
Thanks for that link - it is actually a little bit more useful than the FAQ at the Eurid site.
It confirms that it is the owners e-mail address that is sent the mail and not the Registra's technical contact address which is very useful.
Not sure about the 60 days/2 months thing as that isn't mentioned in either FAQ.
