I suspect there is some corporate purge of domains that does not reflect on market forces or customers leaving. Also note that Dotster has grown by buying out other registrars, such as 000domains, who's results are shown separately, and are shown growing at webhostinginfo.
dotster offered a bad service with hosting, very slow load in Asia, you might think that it mybe because of my speed but other website that located at USA, have prety blazing speed here and I'm using high-speed broadband.
