I wondered what you think of the design for my latest project? It's a full-service, webstandard compliant design to xhtml conversion service, and I'm currently developing the site and filling it with contents and effects.
nice idea. I would work on the design a bit , you have open banner like space under the logo. Also I would add a free conversion (1 page per domain). Also you should add content regarding the importance of having valid (x)html / css
The design is visually pleasant generally. However the large serrated circle with "starting at just $70" inside it sitting to the right of the main content I think is just a little obtrusive but maybe its just my personal preference. Also when I type something in the search text box, the "type and hit enter to search" text inside it ought to become invisible to make it easier for the user to enter a search string. These are just a couple thoughts for your consideration. It looks like it will be a nice site when finished. Have fun.
Very nicely done. The complete site utilizes some great design techniques. The color scheme - easy on the eyes and flows. In the header - is web standard one word? I am actually not sure if it is or isn't.
@tknterry: Thanks for pointing that out. I've discovered something that makes me wanna remove that price label thing. Check out codethatdesign.com... it's almost the same as on my homepage. I never knew about that site when I designed my layout, but I don't wanna look like a copycat, so I'll remove that.
@lxserverdirect: Thanks for the compliments, appreciated!
@jerett: you're actually right, web standards are not one word. That's probably because I'm Dutch and in Holland we just stick all words together: webdesign, webstandards etc etc. I'll edit that, thanks!
