Seriously, things have changed this year. For example, I saw a Target commercial that actually said "Merry Christmas"

Everybody has their stores ready for Christmas and they know people are going to spend a lot of money even now when we are pretty far away from Christmas. Everybody is trying to take advantage of this whole industry that Christmas became and as long as it's profitable, the policy is the earlier, the better.
