    APF and Compiling Kernel

What IP Tables module (what menu's lead to it) needs to be loaded so that APF works? I want to be sure I am enabling the right ones before I compile it.

I currently have a kernel compiled that is working with APF, but when I upgrade the current kernel, it does not work. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you just coping the old config? If so that may be the issue. If its an old kernel there has been TONS of changes and many modules do not get loaded any more. Its best to start with a minimal configuration file and just add your drivers you need.
