Yes, I run this on my service, I have not experienced a single issue, it's a seamless install. Luckily, its features have never came in handy. But there's virtually no overhead, so it's worth the patch. Of course, this is running on Linux, not FreeBSD.
We have been using this for webhosting services for a long time now. I would however caution to set the default values for variable limits in GET POST or REQUEST. These can eat up entries if the value submitted is longer than the allowed limits. Make extensive use of the testing options before using it in production projects.
